Whether they were conscripted or whether they volunteered, whether they believed in the cause they were fighting for or whether they were just doing the job they were given, they still lost their lives at an early age and left mourning families behind. I sometimes think about the horrors that they must have gone through and I am thankful that we live in relative peace today but there is still fighting in countries near to us and far from us, people are still dying and mourning for their dead.
