Audlem
|
Audlem is a township in the Audlem Parish in the Nantwich
Hundred. It is situated on the Shropshire Union Canal not far from the River
Weaver. It has a number of churches including:-
- St James the Great (C of E);
- Baptist Chapel (built 1840);
- Jubilee Methodist Chapel, Cox Bank (Primitive) (built 1861);
- Methodist Chapel (Wesleyan) (built 1862);
- Methodist Chapel (Primitive) (built 1871, closed 1943).
